ATTENTION: ALL LADIES
Ladies, are you interested in Mission work?
Then our "Women on Missions" is the place for you!
This is a wonderful time of learning about the missionaries we support, prayer for Missions, and fellowship for all the ladies of our church.
Our retired missionary - Lynne, leads our group, Women on Missions (WOM)
We meet at 6:00 pm. on the fourth Sunday night of each month.
Some WOM projects:
Annual December party for those who serve us in our church
Help with the needs of our missionaries
Send out Christmas cards and letters from WOM to our missionaries
Update the Missions board in the church fellowship hall
“Home Sweet Home” is the theme for WOM’s current project
“Home Sweet Home” verses - 2 Corinthians 1:1-5
1Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To the church of God which is at Corinth with all the saints who are throughout Achaia:
2Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
4who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
5For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.
We are gathering donations to help make “bags” for the church members who are shut-ins, sick, and for other people, as WOM hears of their needs.
The following donations are requested:
Small Bibles, soft snacks, crackers, fruit cups, little boxes of cereal, food items that have flip lids and do not have to be refrigerated. Please nothing with peanut in it.
Below is a link to a new idea for women to study God’s Word – It’s a new take on journaling or writing down your notes when you spend time in God’s Word.
